Volunteers at the Woodlands Nature Station improve our visitors’ experience by setting up education stations, answering questions, or assisting with animal care and garden maintenance. This is a rewarding experience that gives you the chance to build your skills, improve your knowledge about native wildlife and connect with people. Volunteering to assist with one of our special events at Woodlands Nature Station is a fun way to get involved. From Homeschool Days to Howl-o-ween we couldn’t manage our spectacular events without the assistance of our wonderful volunteers. Special event volunteers may greet guests, run crafts and activities, and always have a howling good time. Interested in getting involved? Send an email to volunteer@friendsoflbl.org or call our Volunteer Coordinator at 270-924-2007.
