Take a step back in time and volunteer at The Homeplace 1850s Working Farm. The Homeplace 1850s Working Farm has 16 relocated log structures, historically managed crop fields, gardens, and heritage livestock breeds that make up our living history farm. As a volunteer, you would bring life to the Homeplace by participating in tasks that a family in the 1850’s would be doing with the historical outfits, processes, and implements of the time. Volunteering on the farm gives you the opportunity to learn skills and crafts essential to family life in a pioneer settlement.  To get started, email or call our volunteer coordinator at 270-924-2007 or volunteer@friendsoflbl.org
