BUGLE CORPS MONITOR POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT:
Bugle Corps Monitor – Elk and Bison Prairie
The Land Between The Lakes Association (LBLA) invites applications for the position of Bugle Corps Monitor working with the Elk and Bison Prairie. The position is with LBLA and not a Federal or State position.
Starting Date / Duration: As Soon As Possible to be filled. This is a Permanent Part Time (not seasonal) job with LBLA.
This position is supervised by the Volunteer Coordinator at LBLA with overall supervision by the USDA Forest Service EBP Manager.
The Bugle Corps is essential in our self-service Prairie. This team (EBP Monitors and Bugle Corps Volunteers) monitors the Elk and Bison Prairie. As elk and bison roam free, the Bugle Corps keep our visitors and animals safe by reminding visitors of the rules. They report any incidents on the prairie, work to keep it litter-free and provide interpretive services. Bugle Corps help visitors gain an understanding of why the prairie is important as an ecosystem as they answer questions about the Elk and Bison Prairie and all the wildlife it encompasses. Bugle Corps Monitors perform the same duties as the volunteers as well as having additional responsibilities.
