The Between the Rivers Cemetery and Heritage Perpetual fund will be a fund under the direction of the 5-member committee which will consist of a representative from each county within the Land Between the Lakes.

The representatives will serve a term of 3 years that will start in a staggered rotation and will be appointed by the County Judge Executives of Trigg and Lyon Counties and the County Mayor of Stewart County. The remaining two ex-officio members will be from the Forest Service Heritage Department and the Friends of Land Between the Lakes.

The funds will be used by the 3 voting members with guidance from their communities to address current needs as it relatees to cemeteries.

Mission and Vision

The mission of the Between the Rivers Cemetery and Heritage Committee is to manage the perpetual fund to care for the cemeteries within the Land Between the Lakes and preserve the legacy value of cemeteries and heritage.

The vision of the Between the Rivers Cemetery and Heritage Committee is to strengthen the cemetery presence as an inviting space for remembrance, healing, and community.
