Join us at the Homeplace for our annual Trades Fair, Labor Day weekend, Saturday and Sunday September 3rd and 4th!
We will be hosting craftspeople from nearby areas who will be showcasing their talents in historic trades that were common during the 1850’s. We will have a variety of trades on display as well as vendors on the farm. These will include a working Gristmill from 1917, Gargoyle Ranch goat farm, a local stone cutter and artist, Tn River Artist Blacksmith Association, a copper artist at work, a crochet artist, a soap and candle artisan (Sat), a musical artist (Sat), and a beekeeper (Sun). There will be lots to see and to experience with these tradespeople.
This is a unique opportunity to connect with the tradespeople who keep these skills alive. Trades fair will begin at 10am and run until 4pm both days. Come out and bring the family to the Homeplace for a day on the Farm!
You can volunteer at this very special event. Just send an email to our Volunteer Coordinator (volunteer@friendsoflbl.org) or call to provide your info direct by calling (270) 924-2007!
